Represented the Academy on “Call The Doctor” with Dr. Al Thielen for years. Taught, trained and prepped one of the first physician assistants (John Davis, RN) to be board certified. Also assisted the Ohio State Medical Board in its initial planning as to what a PA could do. The first two states to use a PA were Iowa and Kentucky; initial use of the PA in my office was determined by what these state boards allowed. Preceptorship training of University of Cincinnati College of Medicine students for about 20 years.
