NO FEAR, THE EXPERT HYPNOTIST IS HERE! Team name: Akcija Reakcija Team leader: Mojca Pavšič Team members: Barbara Diemat, Monika Susič Country: Slovenia School: University of Maribor

W E CAN CHANGE THE PRESENT TO HAVE GOOD FUTURE ! The solution is EXPERT HYPNOTIST. He would have two functions:  interrogating criminals (yeah, we would change the judicial sysem a bit)  Prisoners would be forced to do socially useful labour they hate the most. How would we know which kind of labour that is? With hypnosis of course!  evaluating people on important and high positions.  Expert hypnotists would evaluate people that are going after important jobs and then would give the statement whether the candidate is trustworthy or not.

T RICKY ETHNICAL QUESTION How would people know whether the candidate is good or not if expert hypnotist mustn‘t tell why? Well, the expert hypnotist would have respect the code of ethics. When giving the evaluation, he would reveal only the information needed – if the person is trustworthy or not; he wouldn‘t tell why. Then it would be up to people if they will trust that person or not. If a person turns down the evaluation under hypnosis, he would be automatically deleted from the list of candidates for a job.

T HE OATH AND THE PROCESS OF HYPNOSIS Every expert hypnotist would have to take the oath and would be obligated to hold the information for himself. Still, there are some exceptions that would allow the violation of the code of ethics - for example if someone would be planning the terrorist attack. Before informing the authorities, the information would be appraised on scale of 1 to 10 (10 being most important). How would the process of hypnosis look like? 1. The candidate would be given the questionare and he would answered it when not hypnotised. 2. Then he would answered it again but this time under hypnosis. *In the process of interrogation and evaluation two expert hypnotists would be present, one as an eyewitness.

B ECOMING EXPERT HYPNOTIST Only ten students would be able to enrole in a special programme called Studies of Hypnosis. The programme would consist of subjects from various fields od studies (psychology, anthropology, medicine and chemistry, law etc.). After 5 years they would graduate and become hypnotists. Only studenst with top marks would be able to continue with a 3-year post-graduate studies under mentorship of another expert hypnotist. After those 3 years, students would take the judicial exam and only if they passed it, they would become expert hypnotists. Every 5 years the judicial exam would be retaken and every 2 years expert hypnotists would hypnotise each other to see if they are still trustworthy and reliable. Expert hypnotist could work for state only for 15 years. Then he would have to retire. He than has a few options: enjoy the retirement, open a private office or work as a mento/proffesor.
