TRAINING OBJECTIVES Review and discuss the key concepts presented in the book: LISTEN UP, LEADER! Examine and discuss the relevance of the book contents to our jobs and our organization. Work together to identify ways we can apply the principles of the book back on the job.

GENERAL DISCUSSION QUESTION Based upon what you’ve read, why is integrity an essential trait for effective leadership?

GENERAL DISCUSSION QUESTION How does a leader demonstrate that he or she is trustworthy?

Select a leadership lesson from the book and think of a famous historical leader that you feel demonstrated the leadership principle you have chosen. Then, 2. Draw a portrait of the leader you have selected. Finally, 3. Be prepared to present your portrait and explain how you feel this leader demonstrated the leadership principle you have selected. 8 minutes.

Select someone to present your ranking along with an explanation of how you came up with your results. 5 minutes.
