World Community Service Currently involved in projects in Ecuador and Bolivia. Donations made for WCS projects are matched on the district level and by RI, which means our contribution of $2,000 becomes $7,000. December 2005 – Program at GRR re: our club’s WCS projects
Rotary Foundation Most of the proceeds from 10x10 clubs go to Rotary International to fund WCS projects, GSE teams, Rotary Peace Scholars, and other initiatives. The GRR Foundation was created to support local projects such as STRIVE and the various community groups who receive our support.
Other International Service Activities Fast for Hope raises money once per year for a selected international project, often a water project. Group Study Exchange sends and receives teams to learn about different business practices around the world. Polio Plus – Rotary’s special commitment to eradicate polio through global immunization.
