2 Youth Employment Convention 8 th May 2013 National Apprenticeship Service The National Apprenticeship Service - National Picture National Apprenticeship Service Over 500,000 people started an Apprenticeship in 2011/ ,000 employers in 200,000 locations. 280 skills and industries; 1500 job roles. 15,000 Apprenticeship vacancies available online at any one time. One million online applications in £1.5 billion government investment in Return on investment of £18 per pound spent (Govt investment)
