Our Construction Trees By First Class

By Sea-stars For the branches we tried to scrunch up the paper and we sort of put brown paper around for the bark and we really like this design we worked very hard on it. The hardest thing was to get it to stay on the platform it kept falling off. It was very fun but a branch a fell off.

By Manta rays It was very fun to make this tree. The tree was very hard to put down into the box and we needed a lot of tape. It was very hard to stick, it fell down a lot. We like it because the leaves are very colourful and we put loads of grass around it. The leaves keep falling off like Autumn.

By Jellyfish We loved making this tree it was very hard but we really liked making it anyway. It was so tricky to make it, we didn’t think we could put branches on, so we made it like this instead. We like it because the cardboard really looks like a real tree and it’s really tall. We worked really well together as a team to make our tree.

By Turtles We made this tree because we really liked the design. When we tried to stick it together it was really hard because it kept falling down. Two branches fell off it this morning! We liked Fearghal’s brilliant idea to cut up a bit of the cardboard to put around the tree. When we were done we were all really happy but we had to make it twice as it fell over the first time. We like the leaves the best.

By Sharks We like the grass at the bottom of this tree and if you look carefully you can see dirt as well. We have a squirrel in a hole in the tree and some of the leaves look like they’re going to fall off like Autumn. We had to make it twice as we were rushing the first time, so we took our time the second time. We really like the grass as we used a lot of egg cartons. The tree is kind of small but it looks real and that’s why we like the tree. We really liked working together and we had lots of fun.
