Legislative changes Superannuation Guarantee freeze  Under previous Government, Superannuation Guarantee (SG) was to increase to 12% by July  Current Government has extended the delay so that the SG will not reach 12% until July The SG is now 9.5% and will not increase again until 2021

Legislative changes cont. Compulsory SuperStream standards  The Government is changing the way employers pay super  By 30 June 2016, all employers will need to make contributions and send information to super funds electronically  If you have 20 or more employees – you need to be ready by 30 June 2015  If you have fewer than 20 employees – you need to be ready by 30 June 2016 AustSafe Super has the solution – Our Clearing House, QuickSuper meets the Government requirements and is suitable for all businesses.
