We move into an animation illustrating the voluminous amounts of HP content as the narration prefaces the multiple management tools currently and historically used to maintain and organize content. As the types of content come in from screen left and screen right, they morph into different colored building blocks using the HP color palette and begin to quickly piling up, ultimately engulfing the Planner. As the Planner begins to dig his way out, narration introduces DITA and the benefits of moving away from multiple systems to an industry standard for consistent management and delivery of content.

Now free from the vast amount of content, the Planner unrolls and consults a progressive, step-by- step guide. As the individual steps come into frame, the narration explains the DITA mapping hierarchy and the relationship tables of the individual content components/topics. Our planner then enlists colleagues to work together to link the individual blocks (topics – tasks, concepts, reference). Music comes in under the team organizing and stacking the blocks, connecting the pieces to create the bigger picture on the map. Narration emphasizes the benefits of moving away from multiple systems to an industry standard for consistent management and delivery of content are emphasized and highlighted on-screen – reductions in the amount of content, resources, redundancies, and a holistic, consistent customer experience.

As the Planning Team continues to work and the structure fills the frame, various logos appear over narration citing successful DITA implementations, particularly with key HP Partners and the ease of exchanging content. An ordered, consistent content structure fills the screen. End on a close-up of a remaining group of blocks, focusing on the top of a single block. As the camera pushes in on the embossed lettering on the raised circles, “HP” is revealed. Cut to a match frame of the HP logo on white.

Open on animation illustrating how producers consumers are inundated with the voluminous amounts of content, coming in from screen left and screen right and falling into an organized hierarchy. Narration references the multiple management tools currently and historically used to maintain and organize HP content, introducing DITA as an industry standard for consistent management and delivery of content.

Narration then highlights the OASIS consortium and United Nations collaboration to jointly develop a new set of specifications for electronic business.
