Practice Problems The CD-ROM is designed to be used in conjunction with the Engineering Graphics Principles with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing book. The CD-ROM includes practice problems with solutions. You are encouraged to complete each practice problem prior to reviewing the corresponding solution. The practice problems are designed to improve your understanding of the concepts presented on the CD-ROM and allow you to self-assess your level of understanding. Exercise work sheets for the practice problems are available in the book. Each work sheet is identified by a problem number. Again, it is suggested you complete each exercise prior to reviewing the solutions provided on the CD-ROM.

Self-Evaluation Problems In addition to the practice problems, the first four units contain specific self- evaluation problems that are at the end of each unit. The design of these assignments is similar to the sample problem practice exercises, but there are no solution slides provided within the topic presentations. The self-evaluation problems are labeled, and instructions for completing them are included, both in the presentations, and on the work sheets included in the Engineering Graphics Principles with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing book. If this book is used as part of a course or training activity, you may be required by the instructor to submit one or more of the work sheets for evaluation.

Using the CD-ROM Access to the various units and appendices is through the “Master Table of Contents.” Each unit contains its own table of contents and access to the master table of contents. Each content slide contains a series of navigation tools. The following describes the basic navigation tools. Click to go to table of contents for current unit.
