New England What was the geography/climate? – Cold, good harbors and rocky soil What did they specialize in? – Industry and shipbuilding How were they interdependent with another region? – They traded finished goods for raw materials from the south What was the civic life? – Town meetings How was it similar to another region? – Similar to the Mid atlantic because they came over for religious reasons How was it different than another region? – South is hot, New England is cold!

Mid Atlantic What was the geography/climate? Mild, really good farmland What did they specialize in? Grains and livestock How were they interdependent with another region? Traded grain for finished goods in New England What was the civic life? Market towns How was it similar to another region? Like New England came over for religious reasons. How was it different than another region? Colder than the south

Southern What was the geography/climate? Hot and humid! What did they specialize in? Cash crops How were they interdependent with another region? Traded raw materials with New England for finished goods What was the civic life? Counties How was it similar to another region?
