Excellence is our contribution City Building (Glasgow) LLP Formed in October 2006 Over 2,200 full-time staff Annual turnover of more than £150m One of the largest construction company in Scotland Delivers all construction trades and other specialist & support services Manages RSBi Largest Sheltered workshop in Britain employing 248 employees Skill Academy Delivering Construction based Programme.

Excellence is our contribution Queenslie Training Centre SQA approved training centre Deliver national recognised qualifications Apprentice and Bespoke Training Programmes Training provider for Public and Private Sector

Excellence is our contribution Apprenticeship Programme Recruit apprentices annually, this year craft apprentices employed by City Building 9 Lone parents Carpentry and Joinery Programme Pre- apprenticeship programmes Vocational training for Schools

Excellence is our contribution Ready to Learn Programme City Building was approached by the partners to deliver the ‘Hands-On’ training. The aspirations of the participants was to gain an apprenticeship in construction. This training built on the work already completed and allowing the participants to build confidence.

Excellence is our contribution The Training Programme Training on a number of trades. Emphasis placed hand skills Product knowledge and health and safety were taught in the classroom. All passed the health and safety training- CSCS On-site training with tradesperson.

Excellence is our contribution Out come Programme Group developed their own identity - “The Rangers Group”. Two people left the programme, due to reoffending, during this phase. Only one person failed to get employment. Four obtained an apprenticeship with City Building.
