The most popular being Theseus & The Minotaur Symbol: The Labyrinth and club he used when he slayed the Minotaur Identification or description: An Athenian Hero, Mostly known for slaying the Minotaur in the Labyrinth

Powers: · Theseus, being a demigod, had superhuman strength and agility/reflexes, usually displayed in battle. He was also a skilled fighter. Weaknesses:He was 1/2 man (he could die). Allusions: Theseus was alluded in The Hunger Games as Katniss and Peeta resemble Ariadne and Theseus. In Harry Potter, Harry didn't know he was a wizard until later just like Theseus didn't know he was the King’s son until later.

Lineage Pasiphae + A Bull Minotaur

The Minotaur Important Event: The Classic Myth of Theseus and The Minotaur Symbol: The Labyrinth And/Or a Shield Identification or description:Well known as being the protector of The Labyrinth.

The Minotaur Powers: He had superhuman strength and agility/reflexes. He was also a half bull, coming with strength. Weaknesses:He was half a man as well (he could die). Allusion: In The Hunger Games the Minotaur was alluded to the idea of society.

Theseus and Minotaur Human tribute to Minos Theseus sent to Crete to be sacrificed Ariadne falls in love with him and gives him a way out of the labyrinth Theseus slays Minotaur Ariadne abandoned at Naxos Aegeus throws himself into the sea

Ariadne Lineage: Minos (Father) Pasiphae (Mother) Catreus Phaedra Androgeus Dionysus (Not certain) Ariadne

Ariadne Important Event: One most famous event that she is known for is giving guidance to Theseus. She helped him escape the Labyrinth, the maze Theseus chose to be in, and kill the Minotaur but Ariadne made him promise that he will take her with him to Athens and marry her. Later on after Theseus accomplished his mission, he took Ariadne but he abandoned her on the island of Naxos, where Theseus, his men, and Ariadne rested for a while. Symbol:Labyrinth Identification or description: Ariadne is most known as “Lady of the Labyrinth”. Some say that after she died, Dionysos went to Hades’ Underworld and had her reborn into immortality. She is also symbolized as a sign of love.

Ariadne Powers: She knew the Labyrinth very well and her father was the King who built it so she could easily find out how to kill the Minotaur and to get out of the Labyrinth. Weaknesses: She fell so deeply in love with Theseus that she didn't realize that he was playing her.

Ariadne Allusions: Ariadne alluded to the main character of the movie, Inception, as their story consists of puzzle solving, mazes, and a few other things that connected with Ariadne’s life. There is a song named “Ariadne’s Thread” and it references to Ariadne and the thread she gave Theseus. In The Hunger Games, Peeta alludes to Ariadne in a way as he helps Katniss.

Centaurs Lineage: Pirithous’, the King of the Lapithae, first bride was related to the Centaurs. Symbol: Fist = strength and fierce Power: They have extra strength since they’re half horse/man. Swifter than mortals.Chiron because he was the wisest centaur. Weaknesses: Still mortal so can be killed. Chiron had goodness in him and being a Centaur himself could be a weakness to Centaurs.

Centaurs Identification or description: Centaurs are savage creatures, they are half bull and half man but most behave more like a beast than a man. They aren’t mortal but aren’t immortal either except for Chiron, who was immortal. Important Event: While at the wedding of the King of the Lapithae, the Centaurs, who happened to be related to the bride, proceeded to get drunk and try to seize women, Theseus, who was at the wedding, attacked and a terrible battle rung out which eventually led the Centaurs out of the country.
