Heaven and Hell

Hell Luke 16:19-31 What is hell? –A place of torments V 23 - And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. –A place where they scream for a drop of water V 24 - And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

–A place where they scream for mercy V 24 - And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. –A place of separation from God V 26 - And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. –A place where they pray Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

–A Place of weeping and pain Luke 13:28 - There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. –A place of blackness of darkness forever Jude 13 - Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. –A place of everlasting punishment Matthew 25: 46 - And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Heaven What is heaven? –A place of being in God’s presence John 14:2,3 - In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

–A place of exceeding joy Psalm 16:11 - Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. –A place of rewards Luke 6:23 - Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. (Rev 22: 12) –A place A place where the names of the saved are written Rev. 21:17 - And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

–A place where God is worshipped Rev. 4: 10,11 - The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

–An everlasting place John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

–A place where no sin dwells nor curse Rev. 21: 17 - And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Rev. 22:3 - And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: What is your choice? Heaven or hell?
