PRAY FOR ALL YOUR’RE WORTH (SERIES) “THY WILL BE DONE…” MATTHEW 6:9-13

THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

3 FACTORS TO RECOGNIZE 1.GOD HAS A PLAN AND A WILL FOR YOUR LIFE! 2.YOU ALSO HAVE A PLAN AND A WILL FOR YOUR LIFE! 3.WHEN WE PRAY, “THY WILL BE DONE”, HIS WILL THEN TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER OUR WILL.

QUESTION WHY SHOULD I GIVE UP MY WILL FOR GOD’S WILL?

II. GOD’S WILL BEING DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS DONE IN HEAVEN MEANS GOD’S SOVEREIGN INVOLVEMENT IN THE AFFAIRS OF MAN!

GOD’S SOVEREIGN WILL BEING CARRIED OUT IN OUR LIVES IS THE VISUAL DEMONSTRATION OF HIS PERSONAL CARE FOR EACH ONE OF US!

III.PRAYING FOR GOD’S WILL TO BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS DONE IN HEAVEN MEANS - STANDING FOR WHAT GOD STANDS FOR!

WHAT DOES GOD STAND FOR? RIGHTEOUSNESS JUSTICE COMPASSION PEACE TRUTH

A PRAYER TO PRAY DEAR LORD, THY WILL BE DONE IN MY LIFE! NOTHING MORE. NOTHING LESS. NOTHING ELSE. AMEN.

TRUTH TO LIVE BY #1. IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO GIVE PREFERENCE TO GOD’S WILL OVER OUR OWN WILL!

TRUTH TO LIVE BY #2. DECLARING, ‘GOD, YOUR WILL BE DONE,’ ALWAYS INVOLVES A STRUGGLE WITH OUR OWN WILL.

TRUTH TO LIVE BY #3. WHEN GOD’S WILL IS DONE IN OUR OWN LIVES, IT IS EVIDENCE THAT HIS KINGDOM HAS COME TO OUR HEARTS.

QUESTION WHAT PLACE DOES GOD’S WILL HAVE IN MY LIFE TODAY? CAN I SAY, “THY WILL BE DONE. NOTHING MORE. NOTHING LESS. NOTHING ELSE.’?
