Background & Planning Needs assessment Hospital librarians don’t have time to commit to training academic faculty and students 11-county area making group meetings with affiliate librarians difficult College mission to train faculty and residents on-site at the affiliated institutions

College Culture Commitment to developing distance infrastructure Commitment to hiring personnel to train faculty in distance teaching methods Commitment to support the 11-county affiliate network
