 Earned a Bachelors degree in Earth Science. In the University of California, Santa Cruz.  Received her Ph.D. in Geology in Dalhousie University.  Received her Honorary Doctorate in Dalhousie University.  Earned her Honorary Degree in the State University of New York Education
