Are YOU Hungry?

Fact: There are 925 million hungry people in the world. That means…

Fact: 1 in 7 people will go to bed hungry today!

Fact: Hunger is the #1 health risk in the world. It kills more people than AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined!

Fact: 2010 was a record year for hunger in the US! 14.6% of American households (approximately 49 million people, including children) struggle to put food on their tables.

Fact: What are some of the causes of hunger around the world and in the US ?

Poverty is the main cause of hunger…

as well as malfunctioning economic systems.

Conflicts often displace people and leave them impoverished.
