Imre Bródy ( ) Bródy was born in Gyula, he was university educated in Budapest and became a physicist. He wrote his doctoral dissertation on the chemical constant of monoatomic gases. His most important invention dates from Since the new gas was expensive, he developed a process with his colleagues to obtain krypton from air. Production of krypton filled lamps based on his invention started at Ajka in 1937.

Bródy Day On Bródy Day students can do a lot of activities. This day is for students so they can: –play football –play computer –see the work of firefighters –see how ambulance are working –take part in funny rivals
School leaving ceremony This day the students who finished their studies are leaving the grammar school during a ceremony. On this festivity the headmaster of the school gives a speech. The students farewell from the teachers and each other. The next year they are going to a university or they are going to work.
