Why go global? This lesson, we’ll learn why companies like to spread around the world.

Why is it that Nike and other TNCs like to spread around the world? Thousands of companies have set up branches around the world to make things or sell things. So why do they go global?

Nike is not the richest TNC in the world. The table on the left shows the richest companies in the world. The table on the right shows how much wealth some countries in the world produced. It is possible to see that some TNCs earned more money than some countries.
