Rome «Possis nihil Urbe Roma visere maius » You won’t see anything greater than Rome Quintus Horatius Flaccus

Piazza Navona the world famous square in Rome was built in the 1 st century AD on the site of the Stadium of Domitian and follows the form of the open space of the stadium. The ancient Romans came there to watch the agones "games"), and hence it was known as 'Circus Agonalis' (competition arena).

Trevi Fountain Trevi Fountain was designed by the Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci in Standing 26.3 metres high and metres wide, it's the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world.

Colosseum The Colosseum, originally called Flavian Amphitheatre, is one of the greatest works the Roman Empire. It was named after the Flavian dynasty who built it from 70 to 80 AD.

Via dei Fori Imperiali Via dei Fori Imperiali is a road in the centre of Rome running in a straight line from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. Since the 1990s, a great deal of archaeological excavations have been made on both sides of the road, as significant Imperial Roman relics still remain to be found underneath it.

Saint Peter’s Basilica St. Peter's Basilica is a late Renaissance church in the Vatican City. While it is neither the mother church of the Roman Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the Bishop of Rome, St. Peter's is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic sites in the World

Pantheon The Pantheon, meaning "Temple of all Gods“, was commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus as a temple to all the gods of ancient Rome, and rebuilt by emperor Hadrian about 126 AD. Now it is the most preserved building in the city and the grave of the Italian kings who ruled up to 1946 when the Italian Republic was born.

Thank you for watching, and … arrivederci a Roma!
