Preparation Phase Speak with your Pastor. Show him the VIDEO on the State website. Select the form of fundraiser your Council will hold. Set the date. Advertise in the Parish bulletin.

Implementation Phase If holding an envelope drive, have Knights at every door of the Church handing out the envelopes. Be on hand after Mass to collect the envelopes. If holding a second collection, ask the pastor to have a special announcement reminding parishioners about the Mission Fund collection. If not holding a Church collection, hold the fundraiser that your Council has planned.

Follow-Up Phase Deposit the money collected into the Council account. Recover any Council expenses incurred for the program. Write a council check for the “Net amount“ to: Louisiana State Knights of Columbus (Put Seminary Mission Fund and Diocese in memo line) Send council check to: Seminary Mission Fund Program 123 Iroquois Dr. Abita Springs, LA 70420
