 1650  Restricted use of foreign shipping.

 1763  Established that the Appalachian mountains were the temporary western boundary.  Caused friction between Britain and colonists

 Placed taxes on all printed material  November 5, 1765  Extremely angry and son of liberty tried to abolish act.

 They protested the Stamp act.  Other cities organized Sons of Liberties group.  1765

 1766  Stated that that Parliament had the right to tax and make decisions for British colonies in all cases Colonists didn’t like it.

 1765  Made sure soldiers had adequate housing and provisions.  The resented it!!!!!!

 1767  Tried to avoid some of the problems caused by the stamp act  They were Outraged!!!

 March 5,1770  A Brawl between Colonists and Redcoats % people died.  Made colonists start stronger boycotts

 1773  Gave EIC a chance to get back in business and they could get there tea to the colonist without paying most of the taxes put on tea.  Thought that it was just to crush the colonist liberty

 1774  Punish the people of Massachusetts for their resistance.  Didn’t like them
