FTA Region IV Environmental Program Updates Region IV has one Environmental Program Specialist (EPS) – Brian Smart Our EPS is a resource that can be used for: o Determining appropriate classes of action o Participate in Environmental scoping o Provide technical assistance throughout NEPA process Please engage our EPS/Planners early in the NEPA process to determine likely class of action 10
