And this is our Ankara.. Ankara is the capital and the second largest city of Turkey.

Traditions There are a lot of traditions but we want to share 2 of them with you.

Ankara Zeybeği This game is more spectacular than the others. It represents valor and chivalry.

Circumcision Ceremony This ceremony is held between the ages It is a long ceremony. After circumcision, ‘the wedding’ ceremony, which is like a celebration, starts.

Places to visit.. Anıtkabir is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our dear leader of Turkey. If you come to Ankara, you have to visit it.

ANKARA CASTLE It is a famous place in Ankara. There are old houses, art galleries and restaurants nearby.

Museum of Anatolian Civilizations In this museum you can see ancient things like coins, plates, statues etc.

The food.. Ankara has a lot of delicious food but we want to share three of them.

Ankara Tavası This is a famous meat dish. It is made of rice and meat and it is yummy.

Bazlama Bazlama is a single layered, flat, circular and leavened bread with a creamish yellow colour. It tastes better than bread.

Ankara Sarması It is a delicious dessert made of biscuits and a special cream.
