הכנו אגרות ברכה למכרינו We prepared Rosh Hashanah cards for our friends

כותבים ברכה לסבתא סוזי, השכנה שלנו שתמיד מפנקת אותנו בדברים טעימים We even prepared a card for our neighbor Suzie who always pumpers us with tasty things

החברות פורטות לנו את גרגרי הרימון לכבוד ארוחת החג Our friends prepared the pomegranate’s seeds for our holiday ceremony

הכנת שופרות משוקולד על פלטה חשמלית המסנו שוקולד מוצק וראינו איך הוא נמס והופך לנוזל. יצקנו לשקעים בצורת השוקולד והוא שוב הפך למוצק והפעם בצורת שוקולד On electrical plate we melted chocolate and saw how it becomes a liquid. We poured the melted chocolate into molds in a shape of a Shofar and after a while we got solid chocolate Shofars

ראינו שופרות ארוכים ושופר איל קצר המזכיר לנו את עקדת יצחק השופרות חייבים להיות מקרן של חיה טהורה אוהד הצליח לתקוע בשופר הגדול ואנחנו צופים לו עתיד כ"בעל תוקע" בבית הכנסת We saw long and short Shofars The short one is from a deer and it reminds us of Akedat Ythak(the binding of Issac). The Shofar has to be from a pure animal Ohad succeeded in blowing the Shofar and we expect him to be a “Baal tokea” in the synagogue, when he grows up

טליה נדהמה לגלות שהיא בגובה של השופר Talia was surprise to see that she is in the same height of the Shofar

קיימנו ארוחת חג בגן שלנו ואוהד פתח את הסעודה בתקיעה בשופר We had a holiday celebration and Ohad opened it with a Shofar blowing

שילה מתענג על עוגת הדבש והסילאן שהכנו בגן Shilo enjoys the palm tree honey cake that we prepared in our class שוהם אוכלת רימון שירבו זכויותינו כרימון אנחנו אספנו הרבה מעשים טובים ואכלנו הרבה גרגרי רימון גם לשנה הבאה Shoham eats a lot of pomegranate seeds so we will have many good things in the coming year

נועם אוכל תמר בכדי שייתמו אויבנו ומבקשי רעתנו Noam eats Palm tree fruit and asks that we will not have enemies any more יובל אוכלת תפוח בדבש בכדי שתהיה שנה מתוקה Yuval eats an apple with honey for a sweet year
