Metal Engraving With CO 2 Laser GCC LaserPro

Contents 1.Purpose 2.Unique Optical Design 3.Compatible Models 4.Limitation 5.Parameters 6.Competitors comparison

Purpose Tiny fonts and logos marking on metal materials Need more power density to engrave thinner and smaller

Unique Optical Design Laser beam firstly expanded by LaserPro Beam Expander Module, and the expanded beam will turn into smaller spot size than usual after passing through focusing lens, thus higher power density. Please see the illustration at next page.

Unique Optical Design Optical Design

Compatible Models LaserPro series over 50W models are recommended Under 50W might work but not efficient

Limitations The reflection from stainless steel might damage laser tube The contrast of engraving on stainless steel is not as good as on coated metal Due to engraving on stainless steel requires high power thus engraving speed will be slow.

Parameters

Competitors comparison- Cost LaserPro Device : Beam Expander Universal Device : HPDFO Standard; US$0 Optional; MSRP US$2,650 Comparison : LaserPro is affordable; Extra benefit and versatile application

Competitors comparison- Focal Length LaserPro Device : Beam Expander Universal Device : HPDFO Allow Focal Range +/- 1.0 mm Strict Limitation of Focal Range +/ mm (Material must be very flat) Comparison : Material varies, focusing next to 0 is a limitation to achieve.

Competitors comparison- Engraving Contrast LaserPro Device : Beam Expander Universal Device : HPDFO Image contrast on stainless steel is not so good as engraving on coated metals N/A Comparison : Either LaserPro nor Universal could not reach the contrast effect of applying Thermark compound

Competitors comparison- Small Text LaserPro Device : Beam Expander Universal Device : HPDFO Point 2 text engraving on stainless steel is clear and recognized Comparison : Both LaserPro and Universal can achieve small text engraving
