Week 7 Recap Titans 6 vs Patriots 0 The Titans ended the season with their fourth shutout of the season 6-0 against the Patriots. It was another closely played game for the Titans but they were able to come away with a victory. The Titans scored the only touchdown of the game on the first play of the game; a 65 yard run. It was the only touchdown of the game. Way to go Titans!!!! Titans defense smothered the Patriots offense the entire game. They put endless pressure on the QB, stuffed the run, forced two interceptions, knocked down balls and did not allow the patriots to move the ball. In the second half, the Titans scored on another big yard run, but had it called back because of a flag on the offense. Also in the second half both Titans and Patriots defenses played an evenly matched game. Not giving up big yard plays and holding one another to three and outs the rest of the game. Good job to both teams.

Week 6 Recap Texans 13 vs Titans 13 (OT) The Titans and Texans played an evenly matched game in week 6, which ended in a tie. Kudos to both teams!!!!! The Titans scored on their opening possession of the game. The touchdown was set up by a 15 yard pass play, a 5 yard run and a 20 yard pass play. The Titans offense moved the ball down the field throughout the first half but was only able to come away with one TD. Good job Texans! The Titans defensive held the Texans scoreless in the first half. They put pressure on the quarterback, batted down balls, held them to a three and out on their first possession and forced an interception on the Texans second possession. Way to go Titans!!! In the second half, the Titans scored a 10 yard TD on their second possession. But the Texans were not going down without a fight. They rallied back and scored a 20 yard TD mid-way through the second half and were down by a touchdown. With no time left on the clock the Texans scored on a 25 yard run; the extra point was no good, tying the game at 13. In overtime, both defenses were determined not to allow the other time to score. It was apparent, that both teams wanted to win, but no one was able to get in the end zone for a TD. Tie game!!! A good game was played by both teams!

Week 5 Recap Titans 13 vs Jaguars 0 The Titans had their third shutout of the season against the Jaguars in week 5 by a score of It took them awhile to get it going on the offensive side of the ball. The Jaguars held the Titans to three 3 and outs on their first three possessions of the game. Good work Jaguars!!! But mid-way through the first half they scored on a 10 yard run after the defense got an interception. The Titans defense was relentless not allowing the Jaguars to do move the ball down the field. As well, the Chiefs did a good job of keeping the same kind of pressure on the Titans making it hard for them to get into a good rhythm offensively. (Way to go Chiefs for playing a hard fought game!!!). Neither team had a touchdown in the first half. Late in the second half, the Titans was able to move the ball down the field to score on a 35 yard pass play for a TD. Go Titans! The Chiefs scored on a 15 yard pass play their third possession tying the score Titans 6 – Chiefs 6. In overtime, both defenses were relentless, until the final 8 seconds.
