 The endless war against the merciless Afghanistan must end.  Is our security good enough to keep America safe.  Should we be fighting or should we let them win. Thesis Statements

The endless war against the merciless Afghanistan must end. Most people do not even realize that everyday soldiers give their lives to keep this nation safe from the people who want to do very bad things. The people who want to do bad things are called terrorist’s. Terrorist’s are mostly people from other countries that want to hurt Americans. The terrorist’s are trying to express their country’s religious freedom. Have you ever thought about who the soldiers are, they are the son, the brother, the grandson and even the father to another person.

We have been fighting for along time now with the terrorists from Afghanistan. They are called Al-Qaeda. We have sent soldiers there to protect the good people of that country because we are one nation under God. We thought that it would be a quick fix by getting rid of the Taliban and now 7 years later we are still in Afghanistan. We have been fighting with them for a very long time and it is clear that there needs to be change.

We have lost many soldiers in saving innocent people. We tried to make peace with them but it seems impossible to do this. We need to have a plan to finish this war once and for all. Would it be better to let them win and save lives or keep on pushing and see what happens. Will we ever be safe in this world? Will our children be safe, let’s hope.

Our security is trying to do it’s best to keep the terrorist’s out of our country, to keep us safe. President Obama’s plan to have troops sent home is needed. He is trying his best to make everything right. There needs to be higher standards for our security everywhere, not just airports, train station’s and important people, we need to think about everyone not just in high populated areas. Some people are thinking about whether it might be better to let them win this war. I disagree because of our future and our children’s future. I think we should try to keep America the way it was meant to be. I think we need to have a plan to end this long war once and for all.

President Obama has made it clear that there needs to be change and there will be. I hope in our near future there will be peace. It took the Russians 10 years at war in Afghanistan before they understood it was a war without a victory. The U.S has been in Afghanistan 7 years, let’s not make the same mistake as Russia. The U.S and the World need find another way to fight terrorism. The only way to declare victory is if one side quits. Afghanistan and it’s people will never quit. War is a way of life for them.
