Evacuation Director Duties “Building Clearing” Clear your assigned area of all personnel Clear your assigned area of all personnel –Offices, classrooms, bathrooms, storage and common areas –Inform people they are required to leave Immediately report non-compliant evacuees to Incident Command Immediately report non-compliant evacuees to Incident Command –Be prepared to provide location and physical description of the individual(s)

Evacuation Director Duties “Evacuee Assistance” Identify personnel unable to evacuate Identify personnel unable to evacuate –Move them to an “Area of Refuge” if possible –Notify Incident Command  State your location and situation  State what type of special need exists (wheelchair, walks with a cane, etc)  State any immediate life-threatening conditions Stay with the person until assistance arrives Stay with the person until assistance arrives –SO LONG AS IT IS SAFE TO DO SO –Notify Incident Command immediately if you must leave
