1.b. Explain How does the Huang He both benefit and hurt China’s people? 1.b. The Yellow river helps the people of China by enriching the soil for farming, and it hurts china by flooding and causing destruction.

1.C. Elaborate Why do you think many people in China live on the North China Plain? 1.c. The Plain can produce enough food to feed a larger population.

2.a. Define What is a Typhoon? 2.a. A Typhoon is similar to a Hurricane, a violent storm that has high winds and rain.
