OBJECTIVE To engage technical and administrative experts in key specialist areas (air quality management) to establish an effective and sustainable Technical Secretariat for the Metro Manila Air Shed Governing Board To engage technical and administrative experts in key specialist areas (air quality management) to establish an effective and sustainable Technical Secretariat for the Metro Manila Air Shed Governing Board

Key Functions of the Technical Secretariat to be supported & strengthened by Technical Assistance:  Identification of air pollution problems, needs & priorities  Formulation of policies, strategies & action plans for air quality management in the air shed  Identification, accessing, and allocation of funds for implementing plans & programs  Coordination & monitoring of implementation of plans & programs  Liaising with Board members & their organizations on air quality matters

 Drafting of annual air quality status report for the air shed  Mobilization of public support  Facilitation of stakeholder involvement through the TWGs  Provision of technical advice & assistance to the Board on air quality matters  Organization & provision of secretarial services for Board & TWG meetings  Management of the Board’s financial & administrative systems & records Key Functions of the Technical Secretariat to be supported & strengthened by Technical Assistance (con’t):
