Project Idea: Community Sheds My friend’s garden shed… An imagined community shed… A community space for… …woodwork; metal work; traditional crafts; cooking; arts projects; gardening… …talking; relaxing; feeling valued; feeling supported; being informed… …linking with the community….

1. Spread the word and exchange the learning on the Shed approach 2. Facilitate the development of Sheds in the NPP area 3. Enhance the evidence base of the benefits of a Shed approach Reconceptualising rural services: 1.Preventative health (physical and mental) benefits through Sheds. 2.Employability through Sheds. Sheds can reach people that have traditionally been absent from community initiatives and volunteering activities.
