Technology has changed our society by making most things run by themselves. What I mean is in our society phones, computers, lights, and a lot more of our objects that we use daily require electricity, batteries, or are solar powered. This makes our lives easier by not having to do everything by hand, but it also costs a lot of money to keep things running. I believe technology has caused our values to change because our possessions are getting more expensive and we think we always need to upgrade everything. For example, my mom just upgraded to the new iPhone 4S and if you press a button, you can talk to it and it will give you answers to everything. It even knows who her parents are! I can only imagine what the next version of the iPhone will be able to do! In the future, I think technology will have a lot to do with weapons. If we are so into guns now, I can’t imagine what it will be like in a few years. Every year guns get more powerful so what will they be like in the future? When I think about the weapons in the future, I think about bigger, more deadly bullets, and more excuses for using them. At the stores, all the video games have something to do with killing and violence. I don’t understand why, but every boy and girl is drawn to these games. If they love the violence and guns in the video games so much, eventually, they’ll get drawn into the real world of guns.
