Can Your House Survive on Solar?
Energy from the Sun
PV Inquiry Solar Fountain
Your Turn to be the Engineer Your team will receive a bag of materials You will construct a house. You can follow the blue print or come up with your own design. You need at least three walls and a roof. Attach each of the solar panels and test them outside. What factors contribute to your optimum design? Why?
Debrief Teams pair upShare what you learned about solar technologies What is difficult about the technology? What limitations does it have? Conversely, what are some of the potential benefits of the technology? What problems need to be addressed before utilizing this technology to the fullest?
Team Planning Time How can you use this in your classroom?
