Greetings There are several different ways to greet people when speaking to them in Spanish Similar to the English language, some greetings depend on the time of day in which you encounter someone It is customary for people to hug and/or kiss on both cheeks (depending on what part of the Spanish-speaking world someone is from)
During the day In the morning: Buenos dias = Good Day, Good Morning
In the afternoon Good afternoon = Buenas tardes
In the evening Good evening = Buenas noches
