Movement Why do people move from one place to another? What is that called? What role do resources play in movement?

Trade The movement of goods between areas. Two types Imports Exports We all trade things on a daily basis. What types of things do you trade?

Interdependence The dependence of countries on goods, resources, and knowledge from other parts of the world. Examples:_____________________ Sharing How does this affect culture?

Region An area with unifying characteristics Can be political, economic, religious, physical, or cultural. Contries can be defined in more than one region Ex – Pakistan is in SE Asia physically, Third World economically, and the Muslim Cultural region.
