4 Section One Menu – Section One Becoming a PADI Rescue Diver begins with learning to think like a rescuer. Let’s learn about what causes diver emergencies, about stress, equipment use and your role as a rescue diver. Let’s go through some of the skills and techniques relating to rescuing responsive divers at the surface. Knowledge Training Skills Menu

5 Section Two Menu – Section Two Let’s learn more about stress and how to recognize it before there’s an emergency. We’ll also look at common equipment problems and what to do about them. Let’s look at using flotation during an inwater rescue, different tows, and helping the victim out of the water. We’ll get into some specifics about aquatic life injuries. 6 Section Three Menu – Section Three Let’s look at managing diver emergencies and making an emergency action plan. Let’s learn specifics about how your CPR and first aid skills apply to the unique concerns of diving. Let’s start to look at rescue situations that take place underwater.
