An adjective is a word that MODIFIES (describes) a noun or pronoun.

An ADJECTIVE’s only job is to modify a noun or pronoun. A NOUN or pronoun will only allow itself to be modified by an ADJECTIVE.

An adjective answers 4 questions: Which one? What kind? How many/much? Whose?
