TEACHING INNOVATIVELY(WITH FOCUS ON ICT) AND ITS IMPACT ON THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION Final Report on the activity in Colegiul National de Informatica “Tudor Vianu”, Bucharest, Romania

In the project there participated a total of 18 teachers and approximately 150 students. 10 teachers and 13 students travelled abroad, some more than once- a total of 40 mobilities. At the meeting in Romania there were 35 students who actively participated in its organization, out of which 20 hosted foreign students.

We devised, collected from partners materials and made DVD ENTITLED “LET US TEACH INNOVATIVELY WITH ICT!“ in 3 volumes We devised, collected materials from partners and made a DVD comprising all the documentaries with the impact of the project in each partner school.

20 teaching software were created and made by the teachers and students in our school for the project. Some of them also have teaching tips attached. We have administered and updated the website of the project, including its forum with the online diary and the online evaluation tool. We organised local competitions for the banner of the project, logo of the project, Science Film Festival. Approximately 100 students participated in these.

The project has been disseminated locally ( in Romania) on many occasions: on the internet, at teachers’ meetings, parents-teachers meetings, magazines, national competitions and events, school events and fairs such as:  National Seminar in Romania : Adobe Youth Voices  EDU Fair May 2012  Comenius Week Bucharest May 2012  The educational fair Bucharest May 2012  World IT&C Day at American Chamber of Commerce in Bucharest May 2012  European Day of Languages 2012  Youth on the Move 2013  Made for Europe- Romanian National Competition- we won first prize with the software Teach Orwell, which also won the international software competition at the meeting in Spain  Visit of the Bulgarian and Romanian representatives of the Ministry of Education  RATE ISSUES magazine, winter 2012  Atelier Didactic magazine, issue no 5, October 2012

Prizes obtained during the project 1 st and 2 nd place at the international banner competition whose final stage was organized at the meeting in Italy 2 nd place at the international logo competition whose final stage was organized at the meeting in Spain 1 st place at the international software competition which was organized at the meeting in Spain 1 st and 3 rd place at tine international Science Film Festival whose final stage was organized at the meeting in Poland 1 st place at the national competition of products resulted from Comenius projects (Made for Europe, Iasi, April 2013)
