GEOMETRY CLUE

A crime has been committed! A rare copy of the Chinese math book “Mo Jing” has been taken from its place in the library of a Paris museum, and it is up to you to find it!

A floor plan of the library follows. Each room is equipped with a safe that is unlocked by a six- digit passcode – most likely the thief has stashed the book in one of the safes. Only four people had access to the library at the time of the heist. Use the clues to try to figure out who took the book, which room was used to hide the book, and discover the passcode.

Suspects: Louie the Lifter Sadie the Shyster Despicable Dale Fannie the Filcher

RULES: In your groups, answer the question off of the projector. When you are finished, show your answer to the teacher. If your answer is correct, you will receive a clue to help you deduce the thief, room and passcode. If you miss the problem, you will not receive the clue.
