Lesson 38 – The “Conference” 15:1-29 The letter’s contents vv A strong commendation of those carrying the letter…they had “risked their lives for the name of Jesus Christ” It closed with the suggestion put forward by James cp. v. 20

Lesson 38 – Back In Antioch 15:30-35 The Antioch church is gathered together… when the letter is read, they “rejoiced at its encouragement” vv Judas & Silas also spoke encouraging and strengthening words…then went back to Jerusalem vv

Lesson 38 – In Galatia & Asia 16:1-8 Paul has Timothy circumcised because of the Jews who will hear them preach v. 3 Compare to Titus 15:5-7a Gal 2:3-5 They deliver the Jerusalem decree…the churches were strengthened & increased in number daily vv. 4-5

Lesson 38 – In Macedonia 16:9-40 In Troas, Paul receives a vision from a man in Macedonia requesting help v. 9 He concludes that God has called them to preach in Macedonia v. 10 It is also in Troas that Luke joins Paul “They” & “Them” become “We” & “Us”
