6 Destination Imagination is an educational activity in which student teams solve open-ended Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments. Destination Imagination is in the United States, 37 countries and has 99 affiliates Last year, over 15,000 teams all over the world participated, and over 932 teams competed at Global Finals Destination Imagination

7 All students from Kindergarten through University can participate in age or grade-defined levels: Rising Stars Preschool-2 nd grade Elementary K-5 th grade Middle 6-8 th grade Secondary 9-12 th grade University Level Students must participate in 2- to 7-person teams. Teams compete in one of 7 Team Challenges. We offer the following types of Team Challenges: Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Structural, Service Learning, and Rising Stars!

8 Colorado is the 3 rd largest Affiliate with nearly 1,000 teams Colorado is divided into 10 regions, each of which holds a regional tournament. The regions are: Boulder, Cherry Creek, Denver, Jeffco, North Metro, Pikes Peak, South, South Metro, Southwest and Western Slope. Team Meetings 20 Team meetings should fit the needs of the team manager and the goals set by the team Team meetings can be after school, in the evenings or on weekends.
