Direct object pronouns What are they?

A direct object pronoun is… The word it or them. In French there are two words for it and one for them: It (m)It (f)Them(pl) lelales

Where does it go in a sentence? It always goes before the verb. EXAMPLES: Je regarde la télé = Je la regarde. Je porte un t-shirt = Je le porte. Je vois mes grandparents = Je les vois. HOWEVER, if the verb starts with a vowel you might need to change le/le into l Eg: Jaime le chocolat = Je laime.

Have a go at creating your own sentences: I listen to the radio. I eat an ice-cream. I wear trainers. I buy Cds. I do gymnastics. I read the books. I take the bus.
