Dear Susan, My name is Arto and I saw your advert on Gumtree for a double room in the area of Lewisham which is available from today. Is your room still available? In case you have not already found someone let me tell little about me. I am a 36 years old guy who has been fully housetrained, as I like cleaning, cooking and gardening. I was recently made redundant from my job as a cleaner but I am actively seeking cleaning roles and I am fully confident that I will gain work again very soon. I would currently need to claim Housing Benefit to assist with my rent. The Local Housing Allowance in Lewisham for a room is around £92 per week (I am happy to ensure these payments will be made direct to you) which I would be willing to top up by £18 each week to cover any household bills. This would add up to your advertised rent of £110 per week. I have one month rent in advance ready for me to move in quick. I am happy to answer any further questions you may have on 07xxx xxx xxx or via at I look forward to hearing from you soon!
