Tenant Involvement We recognise that the best way to deliver a service that tenants and leaseholders want is to work with and listen to our tenants. Tenants’ and leaseholders’ views are able to influence decisions affecting their homes and communities. The council is better able to provide services which the tenants and leaseholders value. We find this out by meeting and talking to them. This will continue to strengthen and improve relationships between tenants, leaseholders, officers and members

Tenant Involvement Out of 312 people consulted between April and August 2014 There were 66% of tenants satisfied with our services overall as a landlord we had set a target of 50% and 53% of tenants & leaseholders are satisfied that their views are being taken into account again with a 50% target. 75% of tenants & leaseholders are satisfied with the opportunities for involvement 10% and 16% have actually been engaged in some form of involvement 50% Of those questioned, 75% said they are satisfied with the training and support that we make available for them to become involved, our target is 90% and 72% of tenants & leaseholders are satisfied that they are kept informed on involvement activities 90% Aside of these figures, 35% of those questioned are involved with representative groups in their communities that are not registered as a formal group with the council 20%
