Verbs in the present tense In Spanish verbs are categorized by their endings In Spanish there are 3 types of verbs.. AR, IR, ER You can categorize verbs based on the last two letters of the infinitive form of a verb.

3 Verb Categories  Hablar (to talk) ….. (AR)  Dormir (to sleep) …. (IR)  Comer (to eat) … (ER)

Forms  For each verb there are 5 common forms …  Since each form is different, it is not necessary to use a subject pronoun.
