Financial Support for School Based Activities Contribution towards residential trips in Y4 and Y6 Example of costs: In 2013 Condover Hall (Y6) cost a total of £338, Croft Farm (Y4) cost a total of £190 We can fund up to 50% of the cost automatically Payment of parental contributions towards visiting artists/ musicians/ theatre groups, etc Peripehetic Music Lessons Example of costs: A shared 30 min lesson (2-4 pupils) costs between £45 and £85 for 10 weeks A private drumming lesson costs £125 for 10 weeks

Extra Curricular Activities Examples of opportunities are: Sports Clubs run at LJS by external sports providers, such as baseball or cricket Example of cost: £36 for 12 sessions Youth Theatre at Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham Example of cost: £150 per annum- 1.5 hrs per week after school Horse Riding Lessons- Ongers Farm, Brookthorpe, Gloucester Example of cost: group lesson £10 an hour Martial Arts in Longlevens Community Centre Membership of Cubs/ Brownies Mini basketball/ badminton/ tennis/ gymnastics GL1 Example of cost: this Summer term £57.60 for a 12 or 13 week course Art STR Example of cost: £10 per week Piano Lessons This list is not exhaustive by any means and other suggestions are open to discussion

Supporting Cultural Experiences Theatre Trips For example: ‘Joseph’ is on at the Bristol Hippodrome this Summer, which would enrich Y6 pupil’s understanding of their Summer Term Production or ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’ at the Everyman would support WW2 learning in Y6. Local and National Theatre Visits would be organised in conjunction with class teachers. Pupils would need to feed back their experiences to their class. We would be able to pay for the pupil’s ticket and an accompanying adult. Holiday Workshops Local museums offer a wide variety of creative workshops, inc. The City Museum & Nature in Art- these tend to run in school holidays and cost in the region of £5- £15 Museum Visits tickets can be paid for the child and one accompanying adult for the following local The Holst Museum (Cheltenham), Gloucester Waterways Museum, Forest of Dean Heritage Centre, Bristol Zoo, Chedworth Roman Villa, Corinium Museum in Cirencester, Black Country Museum, Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, Nature in Art & Sudeley Castle Costs for one adult and one pupil would be in the region of £20

LPP Holiday Workshops Subject to demand, there may be opportunities to create Holiday Workshops led by LPP staff and Professional Organisations at the schools during school holiday periods. These will be developed according to the aspirations of the pupils, their families and the staff.
