In 2004 the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research founded a library project. SU INSUINProject name was the Sudanese Universities Information Network/Virtual Library (SUIN ) The overall goal of the project was to link universities in a network to provide local and global information through a virtual library. In 2009, SUIN has become an NGO operational under the umbrella of the Association of Sudanese Universities. Historical Background
