Hours after the attacks of September 11th, 2001, on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, which killed over 3000 people, the Bush administration was blaming Osama bin Laden his alleged Al-Qaeda network declaring a war on terrorism. There was no suggestion was made that Iraq was connected with the September 11th attacks. September 2002 the US government and US media’s campaign was launched to persuade Americans that Iraq was behind the attacks. The CIA failed to turn up any evidence that Iraq was linked to the war None of the 9/11hijackers were from Iraq most were Saudis

Iraq has the 2nd largest proven oil reserves in the world Some people believe that the real reason for the war is to control oil
