Design Sketchbook Assignment #1 Fashion Design Rational: The more time we spend time drawing fashion, we will learn to develop the techniques and skills which make good designs GREAT designs. Objectives: Students will develop and design their own sketches of the following list: You may use examples from magazines however, you must include the actual magazine clipping attached to the sketch page where you modified it to make it your own! DO NOT PLAGARIZE! Criteria: 1. Please draw:  1 Long Sleeve Shirt  1 Blouse with Buttons  1 Vest  1 Purse & Belt Combo  1 Shoe  1 Short Sleeve Shirt  1 Pair of Shorts  1 Pair of Pants  1 Evening Gown  1 Cocktail Dress  1 Jacket  1 Hat 2.Each Drawing must be on its own sheet in the sketchbook. 3.If you used a photo to sketch from – You MUST include that and attach it to the page as well. 4.The drawings/Sketches MUST cover 1/3 of the page. 5.Label the clothes with what fabric you would use to create it in.
